Introduction

Will be told wise, friends, the steering wheel we are going to install in our alto K10 It is of Maruti Celerio in which you also get steering mounted controls, friends, for this we will need a steering wheel of Celerio and also you can put your dummy air bag on top of it and if you do not have dummy air bag So you can install a proper airbag, along with you will need a socket of 16MM. Now you will need one more hub which will be yours, you will get all these parts online and to open the steering wheel you will need a 16 mm socket, with the help of which you can open your steering wheel.

Step 1 Remove your Old Steering Wheel

In step one, first of all, we will make our steering straight line so that the alignment of your steering does not deteriorate later, after that we will get our steering straight, after removing the horn pad immediately with the help of 16 mm socket. From this, we will now open the nut of the steering wheel, whatever your anti-clockwise will open, after that, by hitting the steering lightly from both sides, your steering will loose and the steering will come out.

Step 2 Do some change in steering control assembly

Friends, after the steering comes out, your wiper and Head light controls whole assembly will come out, you will have to make some changes in it so that your Steering hub(Clock spring) which is in the proper steering column get fit You can see that in this picture,  after that friends, you have to open the right side head light coupler, in that you have a positive wire with a parking light and also you can take it from the earthing body or else or this coupler can also be taken from .You have to find the both wire with the help of multimeter so that your steering control gets proper connection and your illumination light which is visible in your button also gets lit.

Step 3 Wiring

In 6 pin coupler first wire is green color  second yellow then your orange, Red, pink and black  green color wire that is your horn key wire yellow color key2  wire which will be connected to your music system orange color is ground wire. Key1 is Red wire that will be connected to your music system and the pink wire will be connected to the parking light wire which will be your headlight coupler and the black one will be your Ground, then you will have to connect the orange and black wires together and connect them to the headlight coupler or body from anywhere for ground connection. After that In which your headlights and wipers are controlled, you have to take out the horn wire and connect with horn wire which is coming from Hub (green Colour).

Step 4 Assemble the Steering wheel

After that friends, whatever hub you have or you also call it clock spring, you will fit all the wiring, you will add the proper check all the wiring and you will take the wire of key1 and key2 to the music system and there you will get which music system If there is a coupler, you will get the wire of key1 and key2, to which you have to connect your two wire come from your hub, after that you have to install the complete steering and turn on the parking light and see inside the button. The illumination light which is properly lit or not lit

Cut the steering cover for fitment of Hub (clock spring).

In the last, you will set the steering buttons, which will be set by your music system and you will find its setting in the setting of steering control buttons of the music system.
